I’m Dr Matthew Berryman — a lived experience consultant, co-designer, app developer and researcher.

I combine my lived experience of stroke with a background in computing and research to help teams design services, studies and technology around the people who will use them. My work is grounded in accessibility, practical co-design and a belief that technology should adapt to people.

Current projects include co-designing stroke rehabilitation apps with Western Health, researching virtual reality and artificial intelligence for speaking practice, and developing the lived-experience-led Talk For Me iOS app.
